Service Description

How do you decide if a hydrocarbon discovery needs appraisal? Building on a participants industry experience, this course will strengthen a professionals ability to identify and quantify the value of information justifying appraisal. Through a case study, participants will evaluate a discovery calculating the range of uncertainty, illustrate options via decision trees, finally design and plan an appraisal programme with the help of ALECA. Topics covered: Discovery range of HCIIP, risk register - communicate uncertainty, multi-disciplinary collaboration & communication, update of minimum economic field size (MEFS), analogues, decision tree, ALECA project management & modules
