Many late life producing hydrocarbon assets are on the market today. What are the opportunities within the challenges these assets face? How to establish a value for the assets? Participants will learn quick screening techniques and will strengthen a professionals ability to identify and quantify the key elements that control the unique risks of late life field production, CAPEX, OPEX and ABEX forecasts. Through a case study, participants will perform a virtual dataroom simulation, collaborating to evaluate a late life asset, identify risks and determine the assets range in value. Focus will be on abandonment timing and remaining opportunity identification using ALECA.
